Frank C. Sutton
Business Strategy and Marketing:
National and International experience in marketing consulting and specializing in strategic planning as it relates to image, positioning, branding and new product development. Bringing an external perspective, Frank is often invited to play a senior management role in strategic business development. He has taught contemporary marketing for the University of California, holds a B.A. in economics from the University of the Pacific, and completed graduate studies at the Wharton School of Business. He has consulted with major advertising and design firms both in the US and overseas.

Douglas McCannel
Linguistics and Philology
Douglas has spent the last decade consulting in areas of linguistic analysis, dialect research, and phonetics. He is also the Senior Learning Skill Counselor for Muir College at UCSD. He has the enviable credential of equal parts academic and hands-on ability; along with a B.A. in Classical Studies from UCSC, he has an M.A. in Comparative Literature and has completed Ph.D. research at UCSD. While born in the US, he lived in Germany for 16 years and traveled extensively throughout Europe during that period. He is bilingual in English and German, proficient in Latin, studied Ancient Greek, and has a working knowledge of French and Spanish.

Tania Konishi
Brand Design and Positioning
Has worked in the UK, the Middle East, Japan, and for the last 12 years in the US as designer and strategic planner for major branding assignments. She has B.A. in Typographic Design from London College of Printing and worked for Bright Strategic Design as VP of Client Services for 10 years. Through ACCORDION she has become actively involved in positioning and branding in the digital arena, as well as the evolution of brand identity in today's business climate.

Ronald A. Brandon
Marketing and Illustration
A former VP and Director of Client Service for Poppe Tyson, the business-to-business subsidiary of BOZELL Worldwide, where he was responsible for development and implementation of global advertising and business development programs. Ron's undergraduate degrees are in art, and biology, with an M.S. in Medical Illustration. He has over twenty years experience in promoting the most important marketing elements, particularly within the challenging field of science, technology and medicine. Additionally, Ron's work has been recognized internationally by the Medical Marketing Association and the Association of Medical Illustrators.

Bettina Gillen
Branding and Creative Strategy
Creating unique and innovative brands is Bettina's speciality. Combining East Coast agency experience and rare consumer insight, she develops an emotional attachment between product and target audience. The result is a powerful brand which fluorishes in today's relationship driven marketplace. Bettina has served as the key creative consultant on accounts of every size and vertical, from fast food to industry-specific software. She earned an M.S. in Mass Communication from Boston University, holds undergraduate degrees in Advertising and Journalism, and has taught communication courses at Johnson & Wales University.
